Solidly neutral. My husband is solidly England in all sports when Aus. is the opponent. I support him only when England/ GB play Aus. at Rugby League.
The inevitable result after the first innings games, looks bleak now to even get a result in any of the remaining tests, 5-0 beckons.
Good tactics England. Lull them into a false sense of security then hit'em hard when they least expect it.

Yes he will be a magician if the Ashes are regained.. Needs to win all three remaining matches which has never been done in Aus. when the first 2 have been lost.
129-6 now Buttler has gone for 3, Bairstow hanging in there with 22, Root with 50 looks as if he will be top scorer again unless Bairstow can find a partner to stick at the other end. Woeful.
Let's be fair, and not being controversial, we're $hit.
Embarrassing ! Once one goes they go over like a deck of cards .. probably one of the worst top orders we've ever turned out .. openers are utter gash .. Root stands alone in that top order, yet as a captain he is utterly dire .. big changes needed
That about sums it up, apart from Root and Stokes, the rest is not good enough in these conditions. I think Hameed is worth being patient, but their bowlers are just too good for our batsmen, and batting they are not great but better than us.
Sorry but Hameed is like a rabbit in the headlights, he's the worst of the lot
