Who will win the Ashes?

Close of play 313-8

Lead by 382

Hopefully can get to 400 with the last 2 wickets and thats a massive total to chase. If Aussies get it fair play and will massively deserve to win the ashes

If they dont its a drawn series on top of a world cup win. Seen worse summers for England

Presumably Broad now bats at 11 to preserve energy ie he either doesn't bat or he just goes out and has a quick slog.

Smashed 2 6’s

Leach bats above Broad now as he doesnt lose his wicket as easy. I prefer Broad at 11 anyway. Just let him throw the bat about rather then trying to play an innings

England 329 all out

Aussies need 399 to win

When he was new to test cricket he often scored alot of runs and was close to being considered as an all rounder. Last 5 years his batting has got worse and worse
He got found out with the well directed short ball and batted with fear.
When he was fearless and played his shots, he was a decent number 8.

Australia get their highest opening partnership, 14.

And they’ve retained the Ashes.

Shane Warne- “just 381 left, you worried arent you Nass?”

Stuart Broad next ball sends Harris’ off stump flying

Aussies 18-1
