Bairstow needs to give the gloves up and I would give them to Foakes. Bairstow is more then good enough to play as a batsman
 
Time for England to put Aussies under pressure with the bat. We are yet to do that and see how the Aussies respond

Everytime we have had them under pressure we have let them off. Time to punish them with the bat and then back it up with the ball

Australia won the toss as I predicted
 
Bayliss interview on TMS atm.

He'd done excellently for short forms but rubbish for the test team and I look forward to his successor.

Thats incredible harsh and a knee jerk reaction to not winning back the ashes. Bayliss has won an ashes series before

Yes the test side has stalled and hasnt improved under him but to achieve what we have in white ball cricket under Bayliss will never be forgotten

Problem is people get greedy and expect everything. If we win this test he goes out with a world cup and drawn ashes series which would be a great way to go but as Bayliss has said himself. The time for change is right now
