The guy is a legend, Its just a pity a lot of people did not appreciate his talent and what he did for the club whilst he was here
I don't think anyone can deny that Ashbee was anything less than a living legend. He wore the arm band with pride and was one of the few players that was truly proud to walk out onto the pitch in a city shirt. He battled through career threatening injuries 3 times and succeeded and returned better than ever. He's always gonna be amongst my favourite city players. It's just a shame that there was a contract dispute and he ended up leaving. Still I wouldn't be surprised if he was back at the club in a few years time as a coach
