This story has dragged on forever, if there was anything in it, then surely the deal would have been done by now, or are Arsenal as slow as us in the transfer market?................

Since then he has continued to impress in the top flight and often captained the side last term in the absence of Garry Monk. "We're not in control of what other clubs do," added Moralee. "Until an offer becomes a reality, Ashley is a Swansea player and will get on with his football. "He's on holiday with his family at the moment and looking forward to the new season."
