Yes they are, but that doesn't mean they just like the cold, it just means they generally stay the same temperature as the air. It is more likely that they were attracted up Gambol's trouser leg by the overpowering smell of cheese or such like.

I saw a movie about these snakes that managed to escape from their cages all the while, whilst an aeroplane was in the sky.

Can't remember the name of the movie though

That wasn't a film, it was a documentary.

Yes they are cold blooded. Their body temp is regulated by external heat sources which is why cold blooded creatures alternate between basking in the sun and finding shade. My snake had a heat lamp inside his tank and some cool shade under a log of wood so he could regulate his own body temp as he saw fit.

    Now ye know <ok>

Sleepy can get tae ****. He's no the boss of me <grr>

    Ah know <laugh>

Little kown fact. My dad had the same finger missing. He lost it in an accident when he was a kid. Strange but true.

Also, both my brothers have had minor accidents involving their fingers.

We're keeping a close eye on the nephews in the family.

    Damn that gypsy curse. <grr>
