It's one thing to out to a side who we (with all due respect) should be beating. But to go out to complacency is really unacceptable. I really can't get over that 3-1 loss at home .
Why am I so ****ing cruel that I chose to inflict Arsenal on my grandchildren. They've now got to endure all the years of heartache that I have.
We were slow for the first 20 mins, but we stepped it up in the 1st half and scored the goal we needed.
Chin up you miserable ****er We've still got an FA cup semi final and a decent run in to look forward to.
Cue Claude and Ty on Arsenal fan tv: Claude: It just wasnt GOOD ENOUGH Ty: But we won da game Claude: Its no good if you... Ty: Answer me tho, did we win the game? Claude: But we didnt..... Ty: Did we win the game? Claude: But you cant.... Ty: Did we win the game? Claude: It doesnt matter if...... Ty: Did we win the game?
We were slow for far longer than 20 minutes, by the 30th minute we had barely done anything. We got some luck on the goal and then we decided to start playing. In this game every minute counts, so there's no excuse even if it was 20 minutes. How vital were those 20 minutes when there was only a minute left with us needing just one more goal? Those were Wengers words as well before the 2 legs, every minute counts.
Tonight was a solid away performance where we played some good football with a **** ref. We lost the tie when the team fell apart trying to score another goal at the end of the first game and forgot how important it was not to concede another goal! It's so annoying to yet again go out in the last sixteen and against a team we really should have put out of the competition but it is what it is, we are out of the competition but still in a position to finish strongly in the league and at least keep some pressure on Chelsea and city and we have a good chance to progress to the final of the FA Cup. It's a bitter blow tonight but our season is far from over.
Like I said I thought we were slow in the first 20 mins, but to say we hardly turned up in the first half isn't accurate.
I just made that up, but you know the conversation will go something like that, those two crack me up.
Our goal was our first shot on target. . That is barely turning up when it takes you that long to get a shot on target when you need 3 goals.
To echo Claude, it's just not good enough....Don't know how long we will have to keep putting up with this same old ****. 5 years and the same exact same story? Something is very very wrong with that. But as usual, nothing really gets done in the end.
Just checking Twitter, the amont of people who predicted us to win 2-0 and go out is unreal. We are so ****ing predictable, bunch of boring ****ers, do the same **** every single season. You would think they would learn that the first leg also matters by now?
Have you got the same old soundbites bookmarked so you can keep on posting them every time we lose a game ?Get in touch with the ****ing tory party they may have a job opportunity for you coming up.
Three of those years I can understand, two of them are bayern who were considered the best team both years and held the trophy and one of them was against Barca at there peak whilst they were the holders of the cup. It's the ac Milan and Monaco losses that rub me up the wrong way.
