That just says everything I've been saying, a standard loan is a season or half a season. This one is half a season obviously. It says a player can only be recalled in a standard loan if it is a full season, and even then only in the January window. "Any recall clause requiring the early termination of a standard loan can only be included in a full season standard loan and this can only be activated in the second transfer window." Basically that paragraph proves Waggy can't be recalled his loan expires on Jan 3rd. EDIT: It took me so long to go through that that you and OLM have settled the debate now anyway
This is correct for Waghorn. The rule OLM posted is also correct, but doesn't apply to Waghorn as his loan is a long term one and not a short term (emergency) loan. If he was on an emergency loan until January 3rd he'd have to have joined us some time in early October or later. Incidentally, the emergency loan window is due to shut (except for goalkeepers with dispensation) anytime now because it's 5 or 6 weeks before the proper window opens.
It's 5pm on the 4th Thursday in November. I happened to notice that while reading through earlier. So next Thursday 24th. EDIT: Though again, OLM has pipped me to this post.
Waghorn was so unfit when he came here, how many other Pearson favourites are languishing in their Reserves and simply not up to playing 90 mins first team football I wonder?
