Had a good game and pulled off at least two top class saves. Gives the defenders confidence. Yoshida and Jos played well...jos would have scored if it was a Tuesday.
Excellent again - attitude, and a prescence that Schmiechal used to have. You don`t fuc& with him .
I agree. I actually said to my mate as we were watching the game that the way he comes out of his goal so aggressively and makes himself big for one-on-ones is VERY reminiscent of Schmeichel.
Well I've gone from the complete doubter to complete endorser. Mind you, he has gone from rubbish to brilliant, and it has taken some timely and obvious coaching. He was well off the mark in his first games, but now he's as sharp as a tack.
In hindsight, I think Saints have managed the situation quite well. We would have lost matches before, because of Boruc's condition, but now, in this form, he is an absolute asset, and clearly better than either Davis or young Gazzaniga. At least that merry-go-round has been stopped, and the defence knows who will be between the sticks.
