Funny that, I thought he did quite well when called upon last season. Besides, if he wasn't good enough then why did Hughes extend his contract?
You're changing opinion from post to post. On another thread you said the current situation had all the hall marks of panic buys!
Cerny did play well when he came in, but was in pain with an injury for most of that time, and isn't young enough to rely on.
Cerny was brilliant when we called upon him. He made some audacious saves. I would have kept him in and let Kenny fight his way back.
I remember him at the away game at liverpool it was a one man show...... He made save after save and kept at 1-0
Cerny should start against Norwich, protecting Rob Green's confidence at all costs could well be very costly.
I said it at the time it was a disgrace allowing fatty back into the team following Cerny's displays. Now I know he made a couple of howlers as well but he was still far better than that other lump.
Seen him play a few times a few years ago in the Irish League. Always looked confident and self-assured. That said, it was a Mickey Mouse standard.
Yep you're right I need to concentrate on what I am ... Yesterday I thought I was a horse ... Today it's a crab
