The board have claimed on numerous occasions there is money to spend. Wenger has at least a £40m kitty. Our stadium debt is minuscule, due to the overt payments we have made using money from player sales and property sales. Our interest payments are tiny. we have gate receipts of £3m per home game. There is plenty of money to spend. Kroenke said he will invest in the club too.

With a little research you will find Wenger has roughly only spent £20m per season on players. Thats not averaged out, thats what he spends - with the exception of the season we bought Arshavin, which funnily enough took his spending that year to £36m.

It was 2 seasons ago when we spent £36m on players and we have since then taken our stadium debt level down since then, so we'll be paying considerably less in interest.

Using basic maths, take that £36m we could afford back then with greater debt and add it to the £7m we got for Clichy and, you can see, we should have AT LEAST £40m to spend.

I see you can't handle the truth when I extinguish the flames of your pathetic argument.
