I remember when Pompey got promoted to the Premier League. All of a sudden there was Portsmouth shirts everywhere (I'm in Brighton). Saints shirts are rare here, but if I start seeing lots of people wearing them I will wonder if they are 'decent' fans, or if they've just starting supporting Saints now we're in the top league.
A new fan who is pumping money into the club through buying a shirt? Can't say I have a problem with fans like that.
wait wait wait. Brucie saved a penalty BY ACCIDENT! Also he threw **** loads of games for Liverpool which makes him a legend in my books. You know who you should hate? Uriah Rennie.
When I was a freshman and sophomore I lived on campus across the street from the stadium. I’ll always remember that no matter what time kick off was, be it at noon or 7 o’ clock that night, there were people outside tailgating at 7 in the morning! In these cases tailgating food consisted of breakfast and lunch. One cool thing about tailgates is that a ridiculous number of alumni return to campus on game days. You never know who you will meet.
Godders I don't think you are a proper fan, as you do not seem to attend matches on any basis never mind regularly. Are you familiar with the term 'plastic' fan ? A proper fan is committed to the cause of their club, and in my case my Country, A proper fan is someone like me that has travelled thousands of miles to support Club and Country and has been to the majority of all clubs in the Football League and Premiership. I just hope I still have my club to support next season.PUP.
