    Bugger...least Hull lost.

Well done Tykes - not won at Oakwell in 13 years or so now.

Zola has grown complacent, his team selections are lazy and ill-thought out. Who in their right mind would continue to put Yeates and Hogg together when everyone knows they are weak.

Ah well, three points lost, but not necessarily a disaster thanks to old boy Darius. Fingers crossed that another old boy can do us a favour tomorrow against Palace to keep the status quo.

Have to concede that Cardiff are too far in front now - and with Forest looming, we have to hope that we can find a bit of our lost form over the international break.

Not the same without Adbi and a fit Chalobah whilst Vydra is off form...remember he is only 20.

At least we know Zola is very honest and won't hide behind excuses.

Bad sporting day all round :(

On the bright side, Wilfried Zaha's serious injury will prevent him from playing, so Palace will most likely drop three points tomorrow.

    Oh dear....

did we not give the game to Barnsley?

Against a poor team we managed to give the ball away again and again, were unable to pass, and somehow let one player score for them over the heads and bodies of our massed defenders....

    This was poor....

    Have we lost our way???

We seemed unable to hold pass and run with the ball, again and again.

In the last 10 minutes when we had all the possession, players appeared to have no idea who to pass to and gave the ball away continually.

    Very worrying....

Additionally..... the behaviour of our supporters who seemed unwilling to get behind their team... after 20 minutes or so they ran out of songs and lolled around in drunken melancholia ( slightly unfair of me !).... I really like to get behind my team and was very surpised by the quietness by our massed away choirs after the first rallying calls. We certainly didnt act as the 12th man for our team....

Anyway overall a poor afternoon.... one shot on target i think.... just thank goodness Hull lost...

We will fight again ..... COYH!!

Haven't read the match reports or your comments as sneaking on the site at work (usual story)

We lost - this is becoming too common at the business end of the season. At least Hull lost too. The fight for second is STILL on, we MUST support our team to the end.

I am worried though, our current form isn't great. If we go inot the play offs like this then....not great news.

We need to recharge and FIGHT to the death. Eight games to go. Eight massive games, 24 points up for grabs. There will be a few more twists in this one yet.

    Come on Watford !!!

Although the break might give your players the chance to 'recharge', the other clubs around you will have the same chance.

Let's hope that the other clubs around forget the habit of picking up points due to the break, and that you get out of the blocks quicker than the rest after the break <ok>

    COYH <cheers>

The problem with the international break is that some of our more influential players don't get one - in fact they all get more games than 'normal', some of them on the other side of The Pond. I can't see Nos & Doyley coming back from South America, fresh for the Good Friday fixture. :(

I'll keep this short and sweet cos there aint much to be said about that.

It was poor, wastefull with possession, slow, devoid of passion or desire to win, they all dawdled and waited for the ball to come to them rather than going to the ball and every time a Barnsley player would cut it out. It seems as if we might be getting complacent and someone needs to knock it out of them.

I have a sneaking suspicion he will be out till next season. Also that he might retire at the end of the year :'(

Cannot add much to what has been written above. Our midfield struggled to cope with their's and when we had good possession, failed to make the most of it. Vydra and Deeney got very poor service and you could see their frustration. But I thought that Barnsley's mid field were very sharp and effective and should be acknowledged
