Got to say, I have never been a fan of the play offs. I wish they would go back to the old ways of the top 3 go up.
Palace were the better team on the day and Zaha made the difference. I'm sure they will enjoy their season in the Premiership and Watford will be just fine when that new loan player rule comes into affect
Unlucky - you were below par today - I guess your journey this season epitomises the 'swings and roundabouts of outrageous fortune' ... put it behind you now and enjoy the summer ... there is always next season.
Absolutely gutted that too many of our players didn't turn up today, but it never should have come to this. 1 point gathered on our travels to the bottom 5 clubs in the division in the second half of the season tells it's own story.

Well i can say that i really did not enjoy today, not just about the result but in that it was such an average match, both teams being at best average. Fair play to Palarse they were the better of the two but take away Zaha and you really could not see them winning either. I can't recall a more disapointing performance from Watford, not knocking them but they contributed as much to their own downfall as Palarces tactics, we just did not play are game and i do not know why. I txt'd the wife after 24 mins and said it was not going to be our day. It was such a huge anti climax for me to be honest and i know we had three good chances but you could not see us scoring. Deeney the inspiration of late just didn't look up for it and after him running for everything against Leicester he looked a different player today. Some good performances but come on, if we had played "our way" it was there for the taking and i think that is why i feel so flat and its horrible to feel like that so early in the game, just wishing you are going to be proved wrong. Was hoping two weeks off match play would have switched them back on to their best. Well it will be intriguing to see what happens over the summer, in comings and going's. We looked light weight at best today which has been the case on a few ocassions. As for Palarse... i think it will take a genius or miracle for them not to spend most of the sesason in the bottom three and Hollowhead for all his tacticle guile is as we all know no genius. I really have to say he is "vile mouthed sportsman of the year" for me and no its not sour grapes its just what comes from his mouth that makes me feel that way.
Didn't deserve anything from the game ...We are better than that but just didn't turn up. Deeney just didn't look interested and Vydra didn't look match fit. This season has been one huge rollercoaster but thought the game today was there for the taking and was very confident this was our time As soon as KP came on it was so bloody obvious that he was the one player who was gonna spoil our day. Our passing was poor all game and shooting was league 2 at best... Though our best player was Geijo Gonna try and forget this (God knows how) take a summer break and go through it all again in August. Thanks guys for a brilliant site and threads its been top reading ..Shame it didn't turn out the way we were all hoping for. Though onwards & upwards, We are Watford ...The Future is YELLOW !!
