Decent point there Ronny, but should it be Parkin or Gestede?

Earnie and Miller need the ball on the floor through the channels - that's the sort of game Malky wants to play. What we need to face is that unless we have the tools in the box to provide those killer balls, we are not going to get the best return from those two guys.

Is playing a big man (Rudy or the Beast) to start up front the plan B that Malky is actually trying to avoid?

Whitts has to get further forward playing the way we are - he is totally wasted being so far back. His ability to both pick a pass or ghost in to score himself is being denied us.

Starting Parkin or Gestede with either Miller or Earnie playing off them would be an option unless we can rehash that midfield diamond arrangement.

Of course if Bellamy does arrive, Malky would have a Plan C as well.

Whitts ran the show against BC, Brighton obviously put stopping him top of their list. It worked, he struggled to find space and had a much lesser impact.

I haven't seen a lot of Cowie but watching last I wondered if he have done a better job in front of our back 4 and let Whitts play front of the diamond, I'm sure Mason could have done a job down the right.

Looks likes basically we are all in agreement work eticc wont reap any rewards without some quality installed in the team.

Also any Swansea fans stop and think about trying to jump in on this or similar threads with your whumming, beware you are going to lose far more games than us and where we may finish mid table you are going to be holding your table up and creaking from the strain and therefore are going to supply us with enough ammunition to last us a good few years so i would advise you to think twice.

Last night we were beaten by the better team. Towards the end of the 1st half we had got on top but unfortunately we gifted them a goal and from then on we went downhill. However the games where we have been worse far exceeds that Boro game. Lets face it that game was an embarrassment.

We cant realistically expect a challenge this season. The squad was left in a right mess by Jones and Malky has had to rebuild. I reckon anything above mid table in his 1st season and hes done well.

We do need pace though. At the moment we have some decent players but no pace anywhere.

    Im confident Bellamy is coming.

This season is about laying the foundations to move on.

    Patience is the key.

Brighton will be around the top 6.

With Bellamy and a couple of decent loan players with pace and we will not be that far behind.
