If they had got Ba and Pizarro they would have been challengers, although I think Arsenal are on the rise. I would be a bit worried with some of Mourinho's thinking though.
Find it hilarious that United have failed so miserably this window. They gave Man City stick last season for the players they brought in. At least they tried. I didn't think United were that good last season and think that Ferguson won them the League. This season they will struggle. I predict 3rd maybe 4th. As For Arsenal I don't quite know what to think. They potentially could be brilliant but they really needed a CB. Interesting season ahead.
Would explain why the poor Sky man seemed so confident that we would sign someone while our media team was saying the opposite. Shame, think he could have really added something.
Probably Spurs and Liverpool. City's are there as is a number of clubs including us that may prove to have done just as well. On the other hand, who do we think have done the worst? Newcastle are arguably weaker than they were last season, Sunderland are hit and miss, brought a whole new squad which could blow up in their face or gel and be great. UTD have not really strengthened and may even be weaker than last season too.
I reckon Tottenham. They have lost Bale but have virtually got a new team with his fee. I think Lamela and Erikson will be brilliant and Paulinho looks good. Soldado will score the goals needed. Not sure about Chaldi and Capoue tho.
Buying Fellaini for more than you could have got him for when his release clause was active is rather daft.
West Brom may be in trouble. I wouldn't swap Long And Odemwingie for Anelka and Anichebe. Has long definitely left yet?
In that case they will be fine. Can't see long getting much game time tho. Forth choice striker now? Anelka, Anichebe and sessegion ahead of him
