Excellent first half and a slightly complacent, if still pretty decent, second half.
Good result and some very good individual performances.

I'd like to single out Adebayor's shift today, as his misses might undermine the graft and quality of his play.
He could've had at least a couple of goals, but someone like Pavlyuchenko could learn so much from what his play gave the team.
Held the ball up well, fought for everything, made some very intelligent runs, never gave up and created loads of space for those in behind him.
Exactly what this side has needed.

Agreed - he just needs to adjust his boots (and head...) to hit the target more often as his two best chances were put wide - if you were to put Defoe in the same position I reckon he'd have scored at least one of those.

But yes he did play well - as did the whole team.

Thanks Harry, we are indeed a joy to watch, Harry has us playing in the great Spurs traditions, of attacking, and honest football.

Tremendous result, tremendous goals, a joy to watch for most of the match, this is one of the greatest Spurs teams that I've seen. Simply exhilirating when playing at full throttle, the pace, the precision, the flair, the quality of the goals.

Once again my favourite player VDV delivered the goods with another exquisite finish. As I never tire of saying I haven't seen a better finisher than him since Greaves, he makes me cry with joy he's that good. Just as with Rovers last week, we only looked really vulnerable on set pieces, and I so wish Sandro could play and help that defence defend these. But at the same time when you see Lennon, the obvious player to be sacrificed, assisting twice you have to give Harry full credit. He loves flair players, attacking football and he has delivered it to us and then some.

It's great that an ex-West ham man has done so much for us, despite all the jealous, bitter nonsense written about him by them when he joined us. 'He'll lead us to ruin, blah, blah, blah,' well he's led us to playing football of the highest quality, that's what he's done. And what a great buy Parker has turned out to be as well.

COYS - these are truly joyous times to be a Spurs fan, and so fantastic that technology lets me see practically every game.

Looking forward to Thursday and Sunday already <ok>

    In peace
Some really great football played by your guys today, and in truth you should have scored more. Good luck, and at least beat all the teams below you, for our sake!

Cheers Ensil, like me you remember the 60s, maybe even better than I do. This is a team worthy of the 'glory, glory' tag, so happy to hear the old song today as we purred forward majestically and shades of Greaves, Gilly, White, Jones and Mackay gathered in the gloomy skies and smiled.

Correct LDL, in Sandro we have the ideal player to shore up our defensive shape and help with set pieces, our key vulnerability ATM. However, Harry just loves going for it. Which at times infuriates me, but what football it brings. Bring on Sandro at 2-1 and we probably ease the game out, and win, but with Lennon off, (the obvious swap) we don't get that beautiful 3rd goal.

I love the way the modern game favours attackers, but sometimes i am a bit 'old school' and am pleading with Harry to 'beef it up a bit'. But he's a top manager, I'm a mug punter and threin lies the difference I guess. Plus a few million in the bank, that's Harry not me BTW <laugh>

It was a good game to watch. No cards. No nasty fouls. No bad refereeing decisions.

I could watch our goals again and again. Bale's second was the best of the three :)
