2-0 away from home. A bit ugly. But...

Are we on fire or what?

It was so good to see Lennon take it on with his left foot and not try to do an inside curl into the far post, which would have surely been blocked by the defence. Fantastic goal by Lennon and a sensational flick on by Bale.

I've got to make sure I don't make too much noise here though in the library.

Sorry to see the Fulham man going off like that.
    Nasty.
Hope he has a quick and full recovery.

We've not been at our best, barely created any chances and yet we're 2-0 up.
    Sign of a good side?

See Jol chatting to Bale & VDV: :What are you doing to my team, it's me Martin!

I hope that elbow is accidental. I would think it all happened too fast to be deliberate, so probably got to give the benefit of the doubt there. Having done it though, Sidwell should have brought to the refs attention that it was a head injury - the game continued for far too long after the injury and it could have been quite nasty if the injury was worse (mind you on any other player it might have seemed worse).

    Adebayor's been excellent again.
He's even put in some great defensive work in our box on set-pieces, which is something that Crouch never got enough credit for, in my opinion.

I'd gladly take this scoreline now, in all honesty.
Modric and van der Vaart have been fairly ineffective and we've rarely got the ball working well for us, though we've been devastating when it has.

    You could, very clearly!

Completely innocuous incident, but clearly not good.

    Goal had been coming.

We haven't really started this half yet.

Stupid, scrappy goal to give away, but it's been coming.
Zamora was clearing impeding Friedel, though and he's been doing it at every corner.

You could see that coming a mile away. We can't seem to keep the ball for more than a few seconds without giving it back to them. O.k. they have closed down very well, and pressurised us, but we've got to stop giving the ball away!

I can see a second coming too. Why are we inviting the pressure?

We're also sitting incredibly deep, which negates VdV completely.

How the f*ck can he give handball for that? He's kicked it against him from centimetres away. If they score from this...

    Phew!

I'll be very interested to see our pass completion % at the end of the game. At the moment it's about 50% *annoyed*

How are we still winning this game?? We are playing like ****. We can't keep the ball - can't string 3 passes together without givng it away. Nothing going forward. Absolute crap!!

The Fulham player has Bale in a headlock - no freekick
