Good news on the team front - (unofficial)

Maybe the slight doubt about Modric was partly the reason Sandro didn't play in Russia.

We should be able to field a very strong team, so no need to take risks with Modric or Gallas but hopefully both will be fit, though I'd stick with King and Kaboul for this one, assuming both are fit.

It's worth noting that Helguson and Boothroyd gave City problems today. It's true we played QPR at home, but their two home performances v Chelsea and City have shown that's a decent team we've given the run around last week.

I thought Harry would be fit to be on the touchline for this one? The BBC is saying he isn't - does anyone know when he plans/hopes to return?

Cheers for that 6061, and to think some people thought VDV is a problem for Spurs, a problem for the other teams, yes. A problem for us, no.

I hope Parker and Sandro start today, to give VDV Bale and Modric a platform to really have a go at Fulham. But if Lennon starts, that's no problem for me, would totally understand that.

Spurs unchanged from the QPR game, apparently.
    Good.

What a pass from Ade as well! I thought he'd overhit that at first!

Yeah, very similar to (though not quite as good as) Modric's pass at Villa Park for our first goal last season.

Nasty elbow in the face for Parker...

    Let's hope he's alright!

Ref's been poor so far, for me.
A couple of very soft free-kicks for Fulham and then somehow missing the head injury for Parker.
    Dodgy elbow by Sidwell.

How was that a freekick against VdV? He got sandwiched there!

    Sweet.

About time he scored one. Two shots in a game, one goal. Hopefully that should tell him something.

What a wonderful goal. Bale and Lennon have been linking up so well the last couple of games!

    Superb finish by Lennon.
Great run and a lovely flick from Bale.

Kaboul taking one for the team.
Good to see Corluka on the bench.

I've been saying it to my friends of late, and this second goal proves it.

Aaron Lennon is the piece of the puzzle that we've been missing out on! He brings the best out of Bale so often.

None of the pundits mentioned his name after the QPR game but he was the spark that made Bale's two goals.

I'm so glad he's back in the team!!!!

I was glad to see him back, too.
I think he gives the team a nice balance and he's another tricky, pacey player in the side.

Not sure whether I'd prefer him or Kranjcar when they're both fully fit, but it's nice to have the option, isn't it?
