Hi Smithy, no it wasn't Glenn's first game, he was already well-established in the team by then. Terry Naylor scored our winner that day. I think the same season or thereabouts Spurs played Bolton in the FA Cup and Hoddle scored a wonder goal, but unfortunately there's no video of it.

I went to our last home game, where Perryman blatantly fouled the keeper in the dying minutes, to snatch a 1-0 win. Without that we didn't go up, no Ardilles or Villa, how history turns on such crucial moments. None of us could believe it when the ref gave the goal, Stevie knocked the ball out of the keeper's hands, who had it under control and his grasp. Lucky day that was.
