Well put it this way unless there are child killers and sex offenders on here, my answer would be work. However, I have my suspicions about you so it's a hard call to be honest.
Whyso? I've never killed a child and my sex has never been described as offensive by the ladies who've had the great fortune to experience that great pleasure.
spurs have taken a risk this year, they are dependant on modric to be professional... lets see how that works out.... spurs fans are very very touchy. arsenal have bought but god knows how it'll work out and vermalean is now injured, i think they are light up front so it will be interesting there too. For me we are in a fight with arsenal for 4th and spurs (parker et al) will not get 65points this year) I don't particulalry rate that spurs first 11 and all that...... freidal (last legs Kaboul Dawson Gallas (last legs) Ekotto Bale modric parker lennon VDV Defoe i think they are light up top, vdv is disinterested and injury prone, they've pace out wide for sure but the main issue is defense, they are not so hot.
Perhaps it is that factor that will prove to be the critical one at the end of the season. When you look back at the comments from rival fans, they mostly run along the lines of "you've improved but you haven't bought anybody of real quality". Long may they continue to fail to recognise that Liverpool have concentrated their attention on building a squad which has 5 strategic advantages: 1) The squad is far bigger and better than the sum of the parts 2) The team is flexible - without any loss it can be changed before and DURING the match 3) The squad appears to enjoy playing and training together 4) The club has taken on a new positive ethos (owners, management and fans) which can will underpin the morale of the squad. 5) The players want to be there - those that don't are let go (without rancour) This is a far different Liverpool from what we saw under the H&G era. In some ways it reminds me of the early Shankly days when the faith of the players in their collective performance more than compensated for any lack of individual skill. Finally, we have Suarez. Whilst other sides look to snuff out his goalscroing, I'll wager that he comes out of this season with one of the highest number of assists in the league - even if it makes him 'grumpy' not to put it in the back of the net
I see it being between liverpool and us, although if chelsea don't improve they could be dragged in to the fight as well.
Sorry, but that's all I can think of adding to this thread. You have given me a laugh, though, lads. Thanks for that, at least.
Thanks for all the welcomes lads! I agree that Chelsea could be dragged in to it, but alot depends on how well the manager adapts. But I do think they have a better first 11 than us at the moment. Hoddle Is God.. Debate is welcome, why do you think Spurs will finish above us come the end of the season, I'm intrigued
You gave us a laugh in your last 2 Prem performances. No fight. Don't worry though, I'm sure 'Arry is prepping the team properly before the Wolves game....Oh no sorry, he's managing the England legends when he's not sticking his neck into the media at every opportunity.
Exactly my thoughts. God knows why he wants to be in the media so much when he is a manager! Very strange. If that was Kenny I would be very concerned.
