£50 on Jos to score the first goal returns £1750. Not a bad days work.

2-1 Saints. Sharp, Lambert, dominate the game but relax last 15 minutes to give them a consolation i.e same as last night.

Just realised West Ham play after us. Great news as it's always better to confirm it on the night rather than at someone elses game.

Fingers crossed for a saturday night celebrating promotion!!
Even if we don't win this one, Coventry at home should give us the points we need

You'd be brave to put that much on. I sometimes bet a small amount on the first scorer and the only one I've got right for ages was Sharp against Donny, which was just meant to be. 34/1 is very long odds for a fairly prolific centre half though.

It'll be a long weekend if we don't win though, won't it?

From watching us play yesterday, I was mightily impressed with the attitude and will to win of the players. If we take that to Middlesbrough (which we will), coupled with their home form:
    Middlesbrough 0-0 Doncaster
    Middlesbrough 0-2 Cardiff
    Middlesbrough 1-1 Bristol City
    Middlesbrough 0-2 Leeds United

and our away form (won 6 of our last 7 away games), then we should give a strong performance!
I really think the players thought yesterday:
"S***, we might actually drop out of the automatics, when we totally deserve to be in them. There's no way that's going to happen!"

We just need to respect Middlesbrough they are a decent side and without Hooiveld (not saying he will be out) it could be a tough game. We beat them comfortably at Saint Mary's but you just never know what a team with no pressure on them will do and we don't want our players jaded by a Reading win.

    No room for complacency now.

A win isn't needed. Sure, it would be nice to win the league but promotion is the most important thing, which barring a horrendous last 2 games, is virtually assured.

If both Blackpool and Cardiff win then Middlesbrough wont be able to get into the playoffs meaning they will have nothing to play for at the kick off of our game! They have Burnley and Leeds at Home respectively so both are winnable for them.

Birmingham also require a point. Away to Brighton, but Brighton have blown up on the home straight.

I wouldn't. A win sees us promoted and a nice stress free game the following Saturday where we all get to have a disco. Why would I settle for anything less?
