Oldcanary bor, I think you can remove Gunny from your listing. He took over when the board had no-one lined up for the task after Worthy turned the job down and did it because of his interest in the club. Also remember he signed Grant Holt, wonder where Lambert would have been without the big man. Welcome back ColMike, nice to see you maintaining an interest in our club. We have got over PL's departure, no point in counting your chickens after they have flown the roost, if you get my gist.

Lot of discussion regarding our past mangers, wonder in which category our current manager will feature ? Personally having witness the successes and failures since Cyril Spiers I would opt for Ken Brown, he struck me as a person who enjoyed playing attractive attacking football.

Was Worthy in the frame to take over again after the Rodent? I wasn't aware of that, and as much as I like the bloke and think he did a cracking job for a few years that would have been a bad move. We probably would have just about stayed up that year, and would have probably been treading water in the CCC ever since. Obviously we didn't think so at the time, but looking back relegation to League One was one of the best things that ever happened to the club, so we have that to thank Gunny for as well :)
