I don't think the ref has got much wrong, really. Lots of silly challenges in this one. Fonte is wild. Yoshida, I think, a little calmer. Personally, I agree that one has to come off. Probably Yoshida - but it is a close one. I want to see us control the midfield now. Let's bring on Davis.
No he's not done much wrong, but somehow I REALLY don't trust him to keep cards in pocket second half....
Swansea were really aggressive, I thought they won't be able to do it the whole match, and particulary now they're man down. We should enjoy a bit more time and space.
Pelle's had about 3 or 4 clever knockdowns/leaves to no one. Tempo of the game might be too fast for that. Sometimes you gotta just try and smash it in.
Swansea are one of those sides who should be able to cope ok with being down to ten men. They know how to keep the ball, and by playing with two wingers, they will always have themselves a goal threat on the counter.
Very aggressive first half. Saints very poor though, and Fonte needs to watch himself. Midfield non-existent
We're missing the link play of Davis massively, we need to make the extra man count and pass them into submission...Also agree that Maya should come off as a precaution for being sent off.
I would consider Davis for Long in order to tie down and dominate midfield to bring back some control to affairs
There wasent any contact by Fonte otherwise i would agree. I'm sure Fonte's walking a very fine line for the 2nd half with the ref.
