Good article Scott. Gonna be tight as a ducks ass this one. Although I think QPR will come for the no score draw, we have struggled to score recently, so could well be goalless after the hour. If it gets to that stage, I fancy us to win by a single (Sinclair) goal. Last season Taarabt tormented us at Loftus Road, but I think we're a much better team now, and so I hope he plays. He is the type of player that can ruin a managers game plan, because no matter what position you play him, he plays wherever the hell he wants. Undoubted talent, but I can see why other players may not enjoy playing with him. I haven't watched that many QPR games this season, but I did watch QPR v Toon earlier in the season (at Loftus I think), where I felt Taarabt made the game more difficult than it needed to be. He was supposed to be left wing, but was actually playing attacking centre midfield for most of the game. This meant that someone always had to fill in for him on the left, and most of the time it was Joey Barton. It's fine if Taarabt gets lots of ball in good areas, and runs the game, but if it's not his day, he can leave his team with a lot of extra ground to make up when defending. I think if the Swans play keep ball for long enough, without Taarabt influencing the game, he will become frustrated, and gaps will start to open up.
I am going to this game! First time ever I get to see Swansea City play in the Premier League. Winner.
We are both slipping down the League Table, so bit of a scrap tonight me thinks, will there be many yellow and reds aye!..................... please log in to view this image We don't take Saxon incursions into our Celtic home land lightly!!...............
Cheers Rangercol (seabreeze here ) ... hope you had a fine Christmas & got lots of things .... cause your getting nothing from this game Lol !! . Have a great new year also sir (cheers )
Hello mate! Merry Crimbo to you too. I fear you're right mate. We're in the middle of a terrible run and I think you may win at a canter.
Leeeeon is wrong to think we're coming for a 0-0, our defence isn't up to that in this league especially as we're carrying injuries to a couple of key players. I wouldn't be surprised to see Taarabt start this one based on his Boxing Day performance last year. If we can nick an early goal we could just go on to win, but if Swans get in front I think they'll win comfortably. I'll go for the draw which will be stopping the rot we have at present...
Don't believe all this Loopy hoops, "we are weak, and not on form", they'll be up for the win alright, come on you Swans!................... please log in to view this image
Just saw that! Great news. Looks like the kid wants to come to the Swans, which is always nice to hear. Money isn't everything.
