Not sure we should let our delicate lads play with these ruffians.

Oh dear, I've realised that by deleting all of Lambs duplicates I've spoilt everyone's retrospective fun. Let me say it now, there were 6 posts... once. :)

In my (accepted old) memory yes! Very niggly, lots of time wasting etc

That said have never had much time for Brighton even pre Poyet. Couldn't stand Alan Mullery!

1900 sounds about right. Think it Will be a mix of experienced squad players and up and coming youth with a couple of 1st team players and strong bench.

    I think Pochettino (not Jesus) will play;

    ---------------------Davis--------------------
    Chambers-----Yoshida-----Hoiveld---Fox
    -------------Davis--------Cork--------------
    Guly (?)---------Gaston-----------J-Rod
    ----------------Lee---------------------------

Bench; Tanzania/Cropper, Clyne, Stevens, Wanyama, JWP, Osvaldo, Isgrove/Rowe

I don't know, too hard to call. Jesus Will be there, but he will not be in charge as Pochettino is our manager. Not Jesus. Although he may do the interview.

KEIREN Westwood is rated no higher than 50:50 to play in tomorrow’s Capital One Cup tie against Southampton.

The Republic of Ireland keeper was injured in Sunderland’s game against Hull City at the weekend when he was involved in a full-blooded collision with ex-Black Cat Paul McShane.

The 29-year-old received treatment and even played on for a few minutes but eventually the neck and shoulder strain proved too much and he had to be substituted with former Arsenal keeper Vito Mannone taking his place just before half-time.

Poyet said: “We will leave it up to the medics decide, I’m not an expert.

“But it was a big collision and he’s 50:50 as things stand to be available.”

If Mannone continues between the posts against the Saints, it will be one of a number of changes the head coach has to make.

The Uruguayan acknowledged: “As well as Keiren, we have Andrea Dossena and Lee Cattermole unavailable because of their red cards.

“So there is two, maybe three changes, that we have to make before we start and we will look to see if we might make more.”

Although Sunderland will be changed from their league line-up, Poyet still expects to put out as strong a side as possible as he looks to continue the club’s cup progress.

“It is an important game for us and whoever comes in must realise they have an opportunity.

“With some players missing for the next few games, I expect players playing tomorrow night to be doing their very best to stake a a claim to stay in the side.”

One disadvantage Perez has, with regard to Pochettino, is that he doesn't need an interpretor. :)

No idea. We played weakened sides in the previous rounds but we were playing lower league sides. I hope Pochettino will play a strong side as I want Saints to win,

We may have a chance with that team but it wouldn't surprise me if we get beat by it to. all the best for the season lads.
