Anyway! As ever with away games i'm not confident, as our midfiled is week and one dimentional. However you never know we might pinch a win. My confidence has been somewhat shattered this season.

Very very very Attacking lineup today, looks to me like a 4-3-3. Spearing is in the side, amazing strike force up front. Lucas and Meireles should be able to control the midfield.

Looks to me like a very exciting lineup!

 

It may be on your board, but it has got sunderland in the title and you are playing us today (so i think we are entitled to post), and we have had 40 years of hurt, but can still sell out our stadium (ok not very often but its happening today lol).

We are at home, we have a good record at home, your away record this season is poor to say the least, we have players coming back from injury, its football, anything can happen, let us have our "hope" just like you have got yours, i will be happy with a draw today tbh.

Penalty was fortunate, but it's about time a decision went our way!

 

That is true...beachball incidence which came to symbolise last season.

 

How are we playing mate? BBC Sport is so slow at telling you absolutely nothing!

 

I just hope we can get a few more goals. 1-0 doesn't feel safe to me, and we need to try and catch Spurs' goal difference.

 

Sounds like the penalty was outside the box from what I heard on the radio. Still, it doesn't matter. We are 1-0 up.

 

Been under quite a bit of pressure. Gyan and Welbeck making their presence known.. but I think this stat pretty much explains it all...

Yea, we're getting into it more and more as the game goes on... but Sunderland didn't really have any end product.

I can see Cattermole getting sent off though, he's being incredibly reckless.

We do need another goal and I think Suarez will be the one to get it.

This game is actualy massively important. Not only to get them off our backs, but also for the pursuit of Spurs.

It's unlikely we will catch Spurs, but its not out of the question. They have got City, Arsenal, Chelsea and us to play.

We must win this and get some momentum, the longer Spurs stay in the Champs League the better.
