    I can't actually believe that we're still chasing Erdinc...
    I've watched him all season and he's more of and attacking midfielder as he can't finish. He's good at passing but if Pards is looking to play him alone up front then we're ****ed.
    But, I'd rather have Mevlut to Long, I mean since when did Long get so bloody expensive?!?
    Bring in Muniain from Ath. Club and another left-back and we're done.

    the reason i keep saying welliton is he is available and his club have quoted 7.5m it's a no brainer really he's got a year left on his contract and wants out due to racism in Russia,have no idea what wages he's on but can see him coming for 50k a week even if it's just to put himself in the shop window in a bigger league just need some ****er to tell pardew as imo he's miles ahead of what we've been linked with and will fit in perfectly to a system where we keep it on the deck,lightening fast what with ben arfa,Cabaye,Marveaux etc playing the defence splitting pass = deadly

    I know it's such an amazing price and goal scoring record! he's young, he's good, he wants out and he's cheep how the **** have we not picked up on the lad it makes no sense!! hopefully it will just be like marveaux and he'll be unveiled as a suprise! but that's probably too optomistic

    It might be the Russian thing actually. There are loads of great players there (Welliton, McGeady, Bystrov, Akinfeev, Honda, Bruno Alves etc) that just don't get looked at. I'd take any of those players for Newcastle!

    last injury i found was in 2008 when a muscle tear kept him out for 10 mths he's been top scorer every season since. the thing prob. putting everyone off is his wages he might also be running his contract down to get a huge pay day who knows maybe why his club want 7.5m as he's got a year left on his contract and they've already played 17 matches of their season
