It means he knows the laws of the game. The ref not seeing the follow through live and from one angle is the bit that "means not".
Think it's about time to ignore this guy. He's either on the wind up or a total moron, so there's no point engaging.
For those who would rather see 90 minutes, here they are. As usual, get your way past the adverts, if any: http://www.footballorgin.com/2014/01/premier-league-2013-2014-sunderland-v_18.html
Seems to be a bit of a theme when we play Sunderland. Oh well. Good luck to them. In more positive news, a massive hats off and cheer to the 668 hardy souls that went along to the game today to support Southampton.
Regarding the Brown challenge, Adam Blackmore has tweeted that the saints players and staff saw replays in the tunnel and didn't think it was anything out of the ordinary. So shows what we know, I suppose.
It was pointed out on BT that some of the seats had such a bad view that the Southampton fans could have stayed on the south coast and had a better view.
I think that the Pogues said it best.... Gaston was running at their Backs, And he was just about to fire, He got chopped down like an old dead tree, Dirty old Brown, Dirty old Brown
Evening lads. A good performance from you guys today.. becoming the norm this season. Good to see the decent Mackems being fair... they are normally a decent bunch in their appraisal of a game. Ignore the minority Mackem bell tops who like to try to stir **** though... Best of luck for the rest of the season. You chaps play footy the right way.
please log in to view this image Looks even worse from this angle. Not sure if this has been posted yet or not so apologies if it has.
The only thing spoiling my view were the Saints supporters who refused to sit down. Seem to see it as a point of honour to spoil the experience of those behind them. if you want to stand up, go to the back.
Lucky for us, they just weren't good enough on the day. A bit puzzled, not long ago when Luke went on one his runs down the wing, another player stepped in behind and covered that space, today on both occasions, whoever was tasked to do that was missing, Chambers did try to get across for the first one but I think that it was him that kept the Sunderland player on side. For the second one there was just a big gap.
In what, Rugby? Tackle was bad, multiple things that were wrong with the way Brown went into the tackle as well (In from behind, Both feet off the ground). No idea how any self respecting player or fan can honestly say that was a good challenge!
