Oh no I wanted Ramirez on, just didn't want Lallana to be the man pulled off for him.

It was 2-2 at the time, we weren't ahead.

I always respond 'in kind' ........ if you believe going on the Sunderland boards uninvited posting 'Dirty Northern Bastards' is fine then I'll come here and respond in kind.

Can't see what you're problem is, I didn't claim it was humourous did I <doh>

I've just seen the phase of play that lead to the two injuries. Terrible refereeing, how the hell could he allow the play to continue with Gaston rolling around and screaming in pain?

Sorry I wasn't paying attention as I typed that, I meant in a match we were winning at one point.

If Poch had not taken Lallana off it could've been Lallana with the busted ankle. What really disgusted me is why the Ref let Sunderland play on with such a serious injury to Gaston. I am just as discusted with Sunderland for playing on.

Calmed down a bit. Still fuming about the Brown challenge though.

In fairness we play on when the other teams players are injured and I'm not sure the Sunderland players knew how bad it was.

Because the rule is to wait for the ball to go dead, unless it's a head injury. If you'd said "how the hell wasn't it a foul?" then that's a different story...

Not sure I understood that substitution either. Presumably it was like for like in the hope that Gaston might find some space where Adam was getting marked out of it.

    My final words to you:

Wouldn't it make more sense to take it up with the poster who came on your board rather than coming on here and polluting our board with your anger management problems? You could maybe try a post responding to him on there. Or a PM gently chiding him for his rudeness. Then again, your lack of reputation suggests thinking isn't your strong point.

Jesus Christ, imagine caring so much about a wind-up comment on a forum.

Mods, Can I ask like a little school boy, that this person is banned from our board. I'm not going to engage with him for now, but it just gets silly with he wumming and the tit for tat because someone else did something. It is boring.

    Mauricio Pochettino speaking post-match:

"The ugliest side of the game was the injuries. We hope they are okay, both are heading to hospital."

"In this game nothing is over until it is over. We were unlucky. In the first half we played fantastically well and deserved a third or a fourth. With the second half and the support of their fans they pushed ahead and got the equaliser. I think we deserved to win the game."

"The players have had a really difficult week, I want to congratulate them in light of what has happened this week. They put in an amazing effort."

"In football there are no guarantees, you depend on the results it will be a decision from the people above to decide whether I should be here. It is not me who decides when we meet, it should be the chairwoman who decides. We have not had a chance to speak about next season so I don't know (about his future) yet."

Just to explain we can't just press the ban button, we have to send a message to the supermods and they do it. So if they are out/at football or whatever it takes a bit of time. My fault though because I thought he was banned from the last time. I skipped out the bit where I PM the other mods to see if they agree ;) ok, let's finish that now.

I didn't really see what happened to Lovren so I'm still hoping for some good news on that one (probably not). As for Gaston, I'm afraid there's no doubt what has happened there. I'm frankly astonished that the ref has not only not given a red card, if he didn't see it I can forgive him, but actually allowed play to continue before getting treatment on.

I think I might even feel sadder about losing Lovren for a while than losing Nicola! He's just been immense this season (and was yet again today).
