I'm certainly not siding with rabbitspectrum, but so few people seem to realise that Lallana fouled the defender before Jay even took the shot.
Punched by JWP, sticking up for our new man, who is later cleared of all charges after delivering a perfect alibi followed by reading his favourite chapter of George Orwell's '1984', which was concluded by a spoken essay about the author's language technique and motives.
Been thinking this myself...even for sell out home games you normally can get tickets easy enough provided you try get them on time
Ha ha. That's going to be a little surreal... saying "Hi" to someone I don't know but have been communicating with for a couple of years.... I've been practising my "Come on Ref, that's embarrassing" shout.
Will you both remain anonymous? Having to call each other by your forum names would be an amusing situation.
Yeah, I'm just going to turn around and loudly shout, "alright fatletiss!" should make him feel a bit awkward!
You are right, Godders. I know quite a few are on holiday where I work. It will be a near full house, so don't worry about a few scattered single tickets around the ground. That is often another issue...I know when I've gone with my son, we are lucky if we get tickets in the same block. That could put some off. Sadly, not selling the block reserved for Sunderland will give a half-empty look behind that goal. A ground extension is a long-term plan anyway.
Hardly any tickets sold in Block 43 yet, it doesn't help that the stupid ticket website colours them as away tickets even when they are made available. It ought to be far easier to see at a glance how many tickets are available in each block instead of having to trawl through each one.
Yeah, and every time we are under pressure, I'm going to shout, "Just knock it down the 36"... all season long!
Anyone who saw some of the squad practising free kicks over a wall of players will note that JWP bent his right around/over the wall and beat the keeper with the ball nestling right in the corner. Morgan had a couple of goes and got one nicely in the corner, then ran off on a simulated shirt removing celebration. Actually, it wasn't a simulation. he removed his shirt to reveal the heart monitor. He didn't get a simulated booking for it. J-Rod sprayed his shots all around but got nowhere near the goal.
