Well I ran out of cold ones from the fridge so attacked the missus whisky...Gallagher is now a scotch.
And so much better to watch MOTD when we score the last goal...we shouldn't be the last match either.
Sorry we couldn't give you more of a game. See you in a couple of years, that's if we bounce back at the first attempt
I remember hearing a Norwich fan on a phone in on talksport saying how Hughton is so conservative, and its failed to yield points. Lucky for us he tried to play it safe again today. I feel for Norwich fans, as it must be frustrating. If we didn't put ourselves under pressure it would of been an easy win without the nail biting at the end. Good for Sam, and Lambert looked his old self today. Thought we played well in pockets of the game.
I think im gonna echo what most people are gonna say about this match but that was very weak defending during that spell between 85min and 86.15. I have nothing against norwich but they didnt deserve 2 or even 1 out of this game and that we would put ourselves under that kind of pressure was rather disappointing as it was completely unnecessary. We are a high pressing team so why do we seem so shell shocked and inept when we get the same treatment? Congrats to all the Goalscorers (who all needed and deserved it in some way) but especially young Sam who sees his first ever goal wobble over the line. P.S. Can we put a shock collar on Boruc so he can get a taste of displeasure from MP whenever he decides to play it short for no reason whatsoever? P.P.S All the best to Norwich for the remaining rounds, they were somewhat toothless today but i wish them well for the remainder of the season
I won't lie, Norwich is really bad. But like others have said, Fulham was much worse against us. All the teams around you also suffer from a lack of quality and effort. Maybe it's not a team that you're going to proud of, but it is a team that can stay up. Then sack Hughton and hope for a new lease on life.
Said on Sky that Lallana was angry to be subbed...presume he was less angry when Rickie scored. Anyone see it on a stream?
Probably didn't want to come off with Hodgson in the audience, but at this point he has to be a lock for the England squad.
MP wants him to play it short. Playing from the back seems to be a big part of his philosophy. Boruc has been playing short passes to the CB right in the middle of the pitch all season and last season, and I think we may pass backwards and across the line with the back four more than any other team in the PL.
Rickie didn't do himself any harm...a goal and an assist. I think he is pencilled in for Brazil...it is up to Carroll to take the place off him.
