This is their infamous training ground again. I remember a few years back some professionals were saying their facilities actually promote strain injuries.
Really really hope Ben Arfa and Cisse are out (With a speed recovery on Monday of course), but how embarrassing would it be if we lose to a Newcastle team of the Ameobi brothers, Obertan, Williamson etc. On the other hand... Let's stuff 'em!
Oh fantastic! I was too busy playing FM to notice that Ben Arfa went off injured. He is the one I'm really worried about if he plays on Sunday, more than Ba and Cisse.
Nigel will be taking it seriously, so I have faith. Take nothing for granted, but a few big names missing won't take any value from my ticket, thats for sure.
Interesting to read how negative they are about Krul over on the Newcastle board. Doesn't sound like he's having the best of season's.
Jamie Hardesty on Twitter: "I'd have rather lost this game 5-0 than see Ben Arfa walk down the tunnel injured. Southampton will walk all over us on Sunday."
I remember when Bristol City weren't at full strength and we should be beating them at home last year.
OK, I'll take that one as a virus that crept through from the old days. They did the double over us as well, IIRC. Never mind, I'm sure there was a year or two when we beat teams that went on to win the League Championship or PL. It happens. Would be a pretty dull game if it was all sorted on paper beforehand.
Hope so, could prove to be a turning point. And just imagine us playing with less pressure, that could be fun.
