Stck with a winning team, but please get some longer studs for Clyne as it is now raining.

Reeves isn't on the bench, so unless Jos comes on as full-back *shudders* then Shaw should play the 90.

Newcastle team: Krul, Santon, Simpson, Williamson, Anita, Cisse, Gutierrez (c), Ba, Tiote, Taylor, Ferguson.

Cisse starts. Their bench is **** though!

As I just said, Yoshida is a much more likely option at full-back.

Yes, true. Still gives me the shudders though. Let's hope Shaw lasts the pace.

I like Yoshida, but full-back... Please no... I can't go through that again.

Yoshida won't play at full-back unless there is an injury or sending off.

More importantly than us being scared by that, I don't think it helps him psychologically either. He knows better than anyone that he had a mare last time he played at full back, so I hope, no, really really hope that it doesn't happen again.

We'll see! I also would prefer him not to but he's really the only option if Clyne or Shaw can't continue for whatever reason.

To be fair to him, he has played there several times for Japan so maybe we haven't seen the best of him.

Exactly, unless Nigel has really worked his magic on him. But even then I'd worry that once under any sustained pressure he could fall to pieces.

Good, good. This positivity was worrying me...we are doomed, doomed.

I wonder if Fox picked up a knock. I don't like not having a back up FB on the bench. Attacking options are nice to have but our weakness has been the back not the front.

Cork may have played there in the past, but he's out of practice. Leave him where he's best.

Just had a chicken and mayo sandwich in time for kick-off. Commentary now on. Cookies close at hand.

He really can't. He played there against Forest at St Marys last season and got ripped to pieces.

No backpasses to Gazzaniga, thanks. Ever, for any reason.
