Yeah, he should have been a bit more careful, but had it not gone in, the incident would be nearly forgotten about.
Sounds good to me - get excited, we've got an awful lot of player blaming to do in our future for pretty much every free kick we give away.
Wanyama's a good player that seems to make one major mistake every game. I thought he was lucky not to get his first booking with his attempted rugby tackle as well. Also there was the needless sliding interception that Boruc had to deal with. I'm still not convinced about him. Other people made mistakes: I thought Cork picked up a yellow needlessly. Chambers was really awful when he came on. 2 out of 10. Pochettino's subs weren't those of someone who was trying to win the game. Up until they went off, Shaw and Lallana were two of our best players. I thought Davis was also excellent.
Fair enough not everygame. They still come about too frequently. It was annoying though because apart from his early over hit pass to Shaw, and then a rash challenge giving away a free kick, he'd played well. All short passes good, first touch reliable, even a few nicely hit longer passes. Second half what happened though? Remember that dribble outside our area, eventually giving it back to them? He did well to win it in the first place but then overcooked it.
Yes. When he plays within his limits he's excellent. When he tries to do something fancy, he invariably makes a hash of it.
Wanyama does have a bit of skill, if the pass near the end, to Clyne was anything to judge by. I also noticed Januzaj ran into Vic and actually knocked him over, but he looked like he had been hit by a bus at the time.
v impressed with wanyama's close control. his passing went a little astray a few times but good overall and he can move when he gets going.
With his arse of an agent I wouldn't be surprised if we start to hear stuff if the team is considerably weakened.
