Don't worry..we will be attacking so much the defence will be able to play a couple of hands of poker
Well, that's cured my wife of her lust for Adam... she HATES tattoos. What on earth was he thinking? Vin
I think his Tatt looks pretty cool. But it won't in 30 years time when he's about 3 stone overweight. Note to anyone thinking of getting tattooed; don't put them anywhere near your stomach unless you plan to remain super-fit all your life.
Seems like City will be more or less at full strength with Kompany now available Personally I'd prefer us to play 4-2-3-1 which we played all last season and suited us but very rarely this season, make of that what you will? Hart Zabaleta Kompany Nastasic Clichy Milner Barry Tevez yaya Silva Aguero Getting into Southampton around 2pm Is the Yates the place for away fans?
The thing that I hate is that in 30 years when all the colours have faded to blue and the lines are blurs, he'll be able to afford to have it removed. The kids who follow his example won't. Don't get me started on &^%£!* tattoos. Vin
Anyway, sorry for that distraction. I've had a little nibble on at 3-1 to Saints (64/1 on Betfair!) We're putting up plenty of chances; the time will come when a few of them start to go in. We've been converting fewer of our shots on target into goals, which I see as just statistical variance. Sooner or later we'll have a game when our shots go in the back of the net. I'm betting on today being the day. As for expecting only to concede one, our defence is being covered by midfield in a way it wasn't for a chunk of the start of the season. So, I've rationalised it all and can't possibly be wrong. Vin
Hopefully great minds think alike I have also had a nibble at 3-1 with Rickie first to score 225/1 with betfred......got a good feeling today.
Pity that Yaya is back, couldn't he have waited a week!? I see that there are a lot of doubts and if both of our full backs are injured then I think Tevez and Silva may pull Fox and Richardson around, but hopefully if they are required they will respond to the challenge.
I was just thinking that the last time I saw Man City play their starting eleven contained the late Marc-Vivien Foe and Sun Jihai, how times have changed. It was 10 years ago and Brett Omerod scored both the goals in a 2-0 win: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2002/oct/07/match.sport7
Love this preview Chilco - now lets hope that you can turn it into a match report ! And why not, for the reasons you state above. Come on you mighty Reds !!
Any excuse to get this one out of the vault...
I would be more worried about Shaw & Clyne not being available than Gaston - now i cant imagine thinking that at the start of the season.
Ow yes, what a goal that was from Southampton's Goal Machine - that has really wetted my appetite before heading off into town ! Well done DTLW.
