Want to see Ramirez & Mayuka again as it looked promising against Sunderland.
    Boruc

    Richardson - Fonte - Yoshida - Shaw

    Ward-Prowse - Davis

    Ramirez

    Mayuka. Guly

    Rodriguez

No bite to this midfield, but think Adkins will do something similar

Don't think Clyne is playing. Assuming Richardson is on that side and Cork can go back to midfield where he needed very much. Also think Rickie is getting a rest en Jrod is going to take his place. Rest is going to be as usual as Nigel told us.....

I hope Richardson gets a run out. I'm a huge fan of him.

For the 1st time in my life I have bet against us on an accumulator bet for todays match, we're guaranteed to draw or win.

I haven't seen it mentioned on here, but there was a problem at the Laundry and Saints are having to play in bleached shirts today.

My sentiments entirely Tom. I am going to the game and would like to see a competitive Saints line up, with the same from Chelsea. Too much made of this resting players rubbish - we should be aiming to win this game + the game at Villa park next weekend.

Just lifted this from SaintsWeb from a guy who is generally ITK :-

Starting with a strong team just resting a couple of players, possibly Shaw and one other.

To be fair to Fox the last couple of times he played before getting dropped he did look a little better, and i'm sure he'll give 100% if selected today.

Having said that, it's a shame it looks like Clyne is still out, if he was fit I would switch him to LB and slot Richardson in at RB.

Southampton FC ‏@officialsaints If you're getting kitted out for today's match, don't forget Saints will be in all-white for our FA Cup games this season! #saintsfc

    Wow! That's optimistic!

Why do Saints fans always have to have a 'whipping boy'?...Ok, i'm not saying that Fox didn't deserve to lose his place to Shaw, but he deserves some respect for his useful role in our promotion last season with many assists, particularly from his excellent deadball delivery.

I'll say... Boruc; Richardson, Fonte, Yoshida, Fox; Cork, Schneiderlin; Puncheon, Ramirez, Guly; Rodriguez.

I didn't want a draw today any way, but after the announcement of that rearranged game, I REALLY don't want a draw now. Could hardly have picked a better date for us to rearrange that game for, imo.

Surely not a whipping boy. Fox was ok in previous seasons with us but never GREAT. His distribution was always a bit bananas.
And now? Have you noticed the difference since Shaw started at L.Back !!!! Its been like replacing Magilton with Messi. (no disrespect Jim)

Jeff Stelling saying he doesn't expect Boruc to be in goal for us today.

But still no reason for him to be lambasted the way he is. Always done ok for us. He was miles better in the championship than people gave him credit for and his delivery gave us loads of goals. He is just not a premier league full back, but will do his best for us. I wonder what will happen when Jos nods one of his corners in at the far post today ....
