Yeah it was a pretty dull match to be honest, had the air of a friendly about it. You could tell we didn't want to lose, great energy after we went 1 down, but we didn't really want to win enough either. The season's petered out somewhat hasn't it? Let's hope the summer goes as planned and we can look forward to a top-half finish next season.
Think next season will be similar to this, very little between teams from 7th or 8th down to 17th. Although I reckon the 3 coming up with struggle badly.

Agree I think we may do a little better as long as we don't unload any of our best youngsters, strengthen the defence and find the secret of beating goalies that always seem to have a blinder against us.
Quite possibly, especially with some of the top-half teams likely to lose key players. The departure of Lukaku (I presume that Chelsea will actually find a use for one of the better young strikers in the league) will hurt West Brom, Everton's in flux, Swansea might lose Michu. Could be very, very crowded.
Yes agree. The summer signings will be crucial for all the PL clubs. Who can find the next Michu or Benteke!
Disappointing result , but nice send of for Owen and glad to see the teams lap of honour . Well done the Northam Stand you were LOUD there !!! Onwards and upwards hopefully , I am concerned though that for all our possession we cannot break teams down ( big Physical teams I mean ) !

I was sitting a just a few rows behind Cortese today, and I'm gonna take a stab that the woman 2 seats to the left of Cortese (our left) is Katharina Liebherr. That is based on the fact she sat close to Cortese, she's a woman of a suitable age, she had a chat with Cortese every now and again, and she had quite an air of authority about her in the way she walked about the place. She's definitely not his wife as I've seen his wife before and they couldn't look more dissimilar.
Also, don't know if anyone noticed but that's Terry Paine just behind Cortese, the 2 of them seemed quite freindly
Couldn't see the lap of honour as the ****ing hythe ferry last service was 6:30 -_- dissapointed but hey ho, it was a typical end of season, nothing to play for game ... onwards and upwards next season!
Pochettino was asked after the game about links in the press with Shaw and Chelsea. He said that maybe Chelsea should be worrying about Saints taking their players.
Good for him..! Exactly the way I would like to answer. Respect successful clubs but don't roll over in your admiration.
