Michu will wear a rugby scrum cap this afternoon against Southampton after his head injury against St Gallen on Thursday night.
One of our weaker benches, methinks. If we go down a goal and need some extra firepower, our options are Jay or Jay.
I think he's still carrying a bit of an injury. If he's not back at Old Trafford then I'll be concerned.
Don't feel good without Shaw, our back four with and without him is an entirely different prospect. Hopefully Lovren's presence beside him will keep Fox steady, although we could really do with Dejan not babysitting him too much as he has Bony and Michu to deal with. Wouldn't be unhappy in the circumstances if Vic just sat on Michu all game, but won't happen as Mauricio will want him free to press the ball. I fear Swansea will set-up to hit us on the counter and have all the weapons to do so, could really do with a nice dominant opening and an early goal, other wise I will be worrying. At this stage I would take a draw, coward that I am.
I think 0-0 is the most likely result and both teams would settle for that imo. I really hope we see an exciting game with a few goals but a 0-0 would be a decent result without shaw.
Just read some interesting stats ahead of the game: We have given away the most free kicks in the league so far (83) but have the LEAST amount of yellow cards so far (5). Swansea have the most yellows with 15! Wanyama is second highest in giving away free kicks (16) with Van Wolfswinkel the most (19) Clyne has averaged more tackles than any other player in the premiership with one tackle every 14.3 min.
