yes we do have our second choice keeper but he has done well so far and we should have chico back in defense in place of old saints boy garry monk......You will be classed as favorites as you are at home and that's how the players ike it......I think we will bring a few thousand to the game so the atmosphere will be magic....Do you think this match will determine adkins future......I hope not as he is wanted by the leeds fans if he is sacked and he is far too good for them.....
Something important to remember about this game is Swansea have 3 losses from 4 away from home so far. They are very hard to beat at home but not so good away from home. This is the sort of game we have to win if we want to stay up. Villa beat them at Villa Park, Stoke beat them at Britannia both by 2-0. They thumped QPR 0-5 but that was quite a freak scoreline considering they had 6 on target
yes agree it was a freak score against qpr but qpr are not bottom like yourselves for nothing...I think your defense will let you down again with the way we play the passing game and since Mr laudrup has been there he has improved with every game.....Im not saying it is an easy game going on form but your defenders had better be on top form to keep us quiet......
Yes but all our points are at home. And you've lost 3 of 4 away. So we need to beat you if we want to stay up and it's an even match up. If you were at home you'd be nailed on favourites
Hard game to call , you're home with a desperation to win just to prove to the players manager and supporters that you belong at this level. The games I've seen of you reminds me of jumpers for goal posts type games with a naivety when pushing forward .You're defenders will need to be on top of their game with our intricate play we could score a hatful but then again with your direct play and strength at set pieces so could you .I noticed a few niggly tackles going in against WBA so i expect a hard (hopefully) good game Chico looks like he's still out so Gary Monk will start and he'd like to show why he deserves his place in the side and there's nothing like playing against your own club to raise your game .At the moment a win is vital for both sides but a score draw wouldn't surprise me.
Can't decide about this one. If we get our passing game going we can cut any side to pieces and create chances but Soton possess a potent attacking threat as well. It seems to me that the game will be decided by which attack is the better on the day. If your defence doesn't cope too well with our fast movement up front, we will win easily because we have a lot of quality there. But equally, our defence isn't great at the moment with key players out, so we could struggle at the back as well. Too close to call for me and I would take a point if it was offered now.....
I'm confident for this one. We've played quite well at home despite results and I think we've got a result in us if NA gets the gameplan right. I can see Gaston Ramirez having a big impact in this one if he plays as the no.10. There's a Swansea lass down the corridor from me at uni and I'm already preparing to take the piss (doubt she reads this). Anyone got any good sheep gags?
50% of teams who were bottom after 10 games have avoided the drop - phew . The Swansea game is not going to be easy and we cannot allow their wide men time and space. I think Michu may be their greatest threat.
Is it 3 'o' clock yet? Oops set the alarm clock to AM. lol Optimistic about this one although I am optimistic about every game.
Bit of an exaggeration. Most days I get up at a very reasonable 11am, but hey it's the weekend so might as well have a lie in. I've earned it.
Would that be:- If we lose, this forum will be desperate. Or, if we lose this forum, will be desperate?
Gee wiz.....How the other half live...........I cannot ever remember getting up at 11.00am!!! Even as a school boy I was up by 05.30 a lay in for me was getting up at 07.00!!!
