Dowd won't be able to keep pace, lucky he's got a whistle to slow things down a bit.

    -------------Gazza----------------

    Clyne---Fonte---Yoshida----Shaw

    ------Morgan-------Cork----------

    Guly-----------------------Ramirez

    --------------Lallana---------------

    -------------Lambert---------------

Sick of hearing about Ramirez the superstar. Get him to track and play wing. Lallana to be free and Rickie will fire off that. Davis dropped for a few games. Guly on right because Puncheon has no end result.

Perhaps we can help you get rid of Adkins! Last time I was down your neck of the woods, we sunk Portsmouth! Go easy on us, we are not good at beating teams at the bottom..............<cheers>

    --------Gazzaniga--------
    Clyne--Fonte--Yoshida--Fox
    Davis--Lallana--Schneiderlin
    Mayuka--Lambert--Rodriguez

Ramirez didn't look to be quite up to speed, and this is the lineup I wanted to see against Fulham. Really hate to play Fox, but I'm not quite ready to stick a 17 year old out there for his first start...though I wouldn't be surprised if Nigel was.

At last a Swansea fan that doesn't try to advise us on how to play in the premiership after 1 year's experience.........hope Adkins comes up trumps though ;) 2-1 my prediction and if Adkins is getting the VOC tomorrow then I fully expect him to go 4-4-2 attack / 4-5-1 defence and put the finger up to anyone who might not like it.

    Ramirez--Lallana--Rodriguez
    -----------Lambert------------

We have a very fluid attack so am not being specific about Rodriguez playing on the left as I fully expect Lambert, Lallanam, and Ramirez to play there at some stage during the match. Need to get Ramirez on the ball as much as possible like how Barcelona are constantly running dummy lines and passing to Messi in space.

2-0 Saints with Yoshida and Mayuka off the bench getting the goals, Yoshida has got his head to the ball a few times but hasn't had much luck.

As much as we are noted for our generosity, it is time for us to harden up a bit, hopefully you are coming along at the wrong moment, nothing personal, we always appreciate skate bashers, but needs must. P.S. Most of us don't want to get rid of NA!

Nathan Dyer (on loan from us) scored the winner, if it was the same game. Hope we can keep him quiet.

Same thing. 4-2-3-1/4-4-1-1 will accommodate him there

Dyer hasn't been starting recently - more likely to be a sub.

Looking forward to Saturday, if only to be in the stadium and to show my support for Adkins. First home game of the season for me.

I'd be happy with the same but maybe punch or Mayuka in for Guly....I'm going for a 2-2 draw

To win this game we are going to have to pass the ball quickly in midfield. Swansea keep hold of the ball well but also take up a strong defensive shape when they lose posession. I think this is the perfect game for Ward-Prowse to play alongside Morgan and maybe the ideal opportunity to let Mayuka off the leash down the right wing. The way Swansea line up the threat is more about the wingers and the attacking players coming from midfield ratherthan the lone striker. So Morgan and whoever is picked alongside him has a major role to play defensively.

    Gazza
    Clyne - Fonte - Maya - Fox
    Morgan - Ward-Prowse
    Mayuke - Ramirez - Lallana
    Lambert

I also wouldn't mind seeing Shaw put in at left back.

I can't wait a saturday afternoon at st marys its been a while and if memory serves me correctly the last time went ok. So i'm going to be confident and optimistic and i predict a shoddy forst half where swansea miss 75 golden chances and the half finishes 0-0 then second half for no reason we start playing well and end up winning 3-2 after going 3-0 up.

I think in the games where we have missed Gaston, we could have done with playing JWP in his place. He has two quick feet and vision for a good pass. I don't think we can play him alongside Morgan in a 4-2-3-1 because we need someone with more guile and muscle, a more experienced and defensively minded player (Davis or Cork). Unfortunately the only way I can see him fitting into the side is to play him in the middle of the three in the 4-2-3-1 with Lallana on the left and Ramirez on the right, but those two don't give us enough width or directness as our wide players. I can't see Lallana or Ramirez being dropped unless injured and as our most creative players one of them needs to play in the middle of the three. It's a shame, but at the moment JWP misses out. Even on the bench the CM needs to be either Cork or Davis (whichever misses out on the 11).
