It wasn't quite the same situation. And how would I be commenting on the performances if I hadn't been watching the games? Use your brain.
Don't know what you looked at......it was Yoshiba who played the ball to Gazza and it was Yoshiba who got it back and simply lost that ball !! Don't blame Gazza!
They are both to blame. Why didn't Gazza just hoof it up field to safety? He wasn't under major pressure.
Look at how we have played recently, was today a improvement?. Yep it was, it was a good result compared to how we have been playing this season.
How many central defenders can take a bouncing ball from the keeper on the volley? He had no option. I know we all want Gazzaniga to be the answer to our goalkeeping problems, but that was his fault. He will learn not to do that again.
Yeah I think it's pretty obvious that the choice to return it to Yoshida was a poor one. They both should have done a lot better in that situation.
All of them? Even I could do that. (Not saying I'd have done better, by the way. I'm just saying it's about decision-making rather than ability).
Oh great, we have people who think they can manage the team on here, now we've got someone who thinks they can play in it as well...
Didn't he in the United game pass it straight out to opposing players twice? I thought he had more problems with his distribution than he did with his shot-stopping personally, but I do see what you're saying, if Kelvin's experienced head was on Gazza's shoulders he hopefully would have just punted that out, particularly with the success Lambert had all game. Personally think that was a bad result, I've been one of the more positive people on the forum all season and have made a lot of excuses for the team, but that was poor. The goal was one of the sloppiest of all our sloppy goals, Gazza can see the entire pitch and should have easily seen Swansea were pressing and just dropped it onto Rickie's head, and then Yoshida had the opportunity to hoof it first time but instead tries to take it down... Calamitous. And we had so many opportunities to cut Swansea open and didn't, unfortunately I think Gaston was mostly the guilty candidate for either dawdling on the ball or picking the wrong option. A point is a point and we need plenty of those, but there is no way we shouldn't have been coming away from that game without three of them, even with the goal we conceded we should have scored two or three. The ref didn't help us by not giving what looked like the most stonewall of stonewall penalties, but Adam hasn't helped himself there by going to ground a bit easy a couple of times earlier in the game which I hate to see our players doing, but regardless of that how the ref has not given that from five yards away I'll never know. QPR game is looking very, very important now. My nerves are going to be a wreck for that one.
It was a dive. Love Lallana, but he's been diving quite a bit recently. Saints should have gotten a free kick on the last one, but I don't think too many referees would have given a penalty. Would have been magically moved just outside the box. Overall, I thought Saints were okay. Bad mistake by Gazzaniga, but you have to live with those when you play a young, inexperienced GK. They looked a bit more organized today. Don't know whether it was the presence of Cork and Shaw or bad Swansea play or if NA just got them straightened out. Still not fantastic, but at least a step forward, IMO. Ramirez had a bit of a disappointing game. He wasn't terrible but for the money he's paid and the role he's been given he needs to produce some brilliance. Still don't think Puncheon offers enough. Saints really should have scored at least two. They did a good job moving the ball but couldn't deliver the final ball to the box. Lambert is the only one doing much there and he's been reduced to a target man which is not taking advantage of his full range of skills.
It was more a general point, I just don't see what Adkins can currently do about it, such errors are happening too often, however we got our team selection and formation right. Good to see Fox fighting for his place too.
You are correct in saying it wasnt quite the same situation we were playing different teams etc. but it was the same mistake, a mistake that boruc made in his debut as well.
Hello gomarchingin. A word of advice: if you are going to use sock puppet accounts you should at least suppress your urge to incorrectly use punctuation.
Ramirez is fantastic at getting out of a crowd of players. His first touch was a bit dodgy today, but when he's fit, he will be one of our players of the season. He was brilliant vs Villa
Had a good stream for the game, didn't go. Gutted, goal should have been avoided. Played well but ot getting the results, not adkins fault tho/ stressed #not
I have to agree, some fans say the same thing every week, some moan but some just say next week is a must win and we will buy in the window, we have to make it to the window though not too far adrift, our players defensively are very poor indeed with the best I can do over some of them is a question mark as I do not know yet their possible levels of potential where as some of them are so far away from this League it is laughable or it would be if it was another club.
