Interesting that the predicted line-ups in many media sources today have Lee starting on the left and Gazzaniga back in goal. I would keep Kelvin in to face his old club.

Same here. He'll get stick from the Sunderland fans but will be right up for it!

Yoshida should be involved despite his erroneous end of the world prediction.

I suppose they will water the pitch before start?

Gotta ask the OP where he got his figures from.

16 at the SOL with 11 Saints wins?

The SOL hasn't been open 16 years, we haven't played ANYBODY 16 times at it, and you have been in a different division to us for several years.

Not being pedantic here, just it's so obviously inaccurate.

Think they have included Roker and the Dell in their stats.

Fair enough mate, I'd have thought we'd have played each other more than that overall.

Tough one to call today, I fancy us but that's maybe blinded by the joy of 18 days off work, I know we'll struggle with Lambert, and Puncheon has massively caught my eye recently.

I'm sure you lads fancy it too, it's that kinda game, I think as a whole we have a better side, but with home advantage and the qualities of the above plus Ramirez you will likely score, meaning we need 2 at least to win.

I'm not buying that your defence has suddenly improved, it may have, but not to the extent we are seeing in terms of goals conceded, and I fancy Sess & Johnson to put your full backs on the back foot.

I've heard Rose is fit, but unlikely to be risked, which is a concern as our back up at the back is dog ****.

I'm gonna go for 2-1 us, but believe me, I won't be diving on bet365 and backing it with hard cash!

All the best for the season.

Same to you after today! I'm worried about Sess but confident we can score. Let's hope the weather doesn't spoil what should be a good match!

Yeah I think it will be good to watch, we play counter and you guys play high pressure at home so we should see plenty of end to end, delighted that Llalana is missing, but having watched Ramirez for a couple years I now he's top class.

Definitely won't be 0-0, I'd stake my lot on that!

Haven't seen it mentioned elesewhere but it is Jose Fontes 29th Birthday today apparently. I think todays conditions would not have suited Lallana, he seems to spend too much time on his backside when the going is slippery.

Still don't know who I want to replace Lallana today. Think I've narrowed it down to between Fox and Mayuka. (I think Gaston and Jay are both wasted out there, I'm not inclined to go with Guly, and I don't like the sound of playing Lee out there).

As the keeper, really not fussed. Nigel can toss a coin to decide for all I care. Just play who you want between the sticks in these four games Nigel (though preferably not Boruc), and sign us a proper PL keeper next month.

Just watching the Arsenal game, personally I am thinking that Wigan look the better side at the moment. Theo, playing upfront, has been pretty anonymous.

Mayuka for me. Fox would probably be a good idea if we wanted to play defensively.
