If we get an early goal, they'll capitulate. I'm concerned about our recent defensive form, but 3-1 seems like a likely result.
I perceive the problem as one of too many negative waves, they affect the ambience, upset the equilibrium and create a feeling of defeatism, as Oddball said: "Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?"

Anyone else worried about the combination of exceptionally windy conditions predicted and Gazza on Sunday?
I've been doing some research for a piece on New Years' resolutions for the club and the players. Did you know Lambert has scored just 10 times in 2013, with just 4 goals from open play? I didn't realise it was that poor.
Our style doesn't suit him any more. He's been quite unlucky with that. Still well suited to England though.
Although he is being asked to perform a different role under Pochettino. He isn't the target man that remains up front any more and will obviously score less because of this.
Lambert can be amazing, but he can be poor just as much. We still need him for his creativity though.
If we are chasing a game and struggling to score, we really should make use of the goal scoring Lambert of old. He'll still score plenty of goals if we use him in the right way. Poch likes to stick to his game plan which is fine, but we don't score many goals and in games where we need a goal to get back into the game I don't see why we can't mix it up a bit more and get those effective crosses to the back post that he is particularly deadly with.
