What you don't have is the right to make grandiose statements without having them challenged.

 

And on all of this we agree. I've never, ever said that you aren't entitled to an opinion, but I'm entitled to question your opinion, particularly when it's contradicted by all available evidence, without being told that I "know **** all about football".

 

I enjoy them being challenged, the more the merrier, but I don't need to "provide evidence" to every opinion. That's mental.

 

Sorry, where has anybody said that? Evidence was provided which contradicted your opinion, but according to you that's inadmissable?

We have a defensive midfielder who's barely played in those 3 months. Could those two facts be related I wonder?

We need again wand. If I could wave it and magically have Lovren with 5 games under his belt and Wanyama with 5 full games under his, then we'd be a very tough unit to score against again. Unfortunately life/football isn't like that.

Don't know the answers to the rest of it but I am beginning to think we need that core (add a fitter/trimmer Boruc to that too) in place to get back to how we were looking. Some like stats and some twist stats to suit. When those three had come out of pre-season looking fit and strong, so did Saints.

 

Just about what I was typing while you posted. Some statistician will use stats to tell me he gives the ball away more than the others. He does. When he was fit, we looked harder to beat.

 

As long as you do that with full unbridled passion and 100% effort with rolled up sleeves while you type, we will ignore the quality of any posts or mistakes you make and accept you with open arms.
