If you are able to watch the latest Rickie Lambert interview on Saints Player, at around 01.50 you will see it is clear that the word complacency is not in his vocabulary! http://www.player.saintsfc.co.uk/la...page/0/name/Rickie-flying-high-after-Hull-win
Where's the behind the scenes video? I enjoy watching all that wandering about...especially when we've won
I thought this was an excellent article and one for chap who doesn't rate JWP to ponder. http://squawka.com/news/2013/11/11/...-southamptons-thrashing-of-hull/2013111134180
To slow for Godders! You wonder how long it will take for the top clubs to notice JWP! Best keep him hidden in NC's top pocket.
Gareth Southgate on Sky praising Mauricio's plans for bringing youngsters through. He added that the only mistake Southampton made was letting him go when he was fourteen!
If they hadn't already, they'll have noticed him after that great goal for the England U21s the other week (even if their fans still haven't): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rC88nUaafbc But at least we now have someone to give Rickie a break from the hard work of slotting them in the back of the net from those positions (actually, IMO he's far better on the dead ball than Rickie; probably takes a mean penalty too...).
Prowsie said that Rickie has promised he can take some of the free kicks in good positions....one day!
Just watched the BBC1 South today highlights of the game on Saturday, loved the clip late in the game where about 6 Saints players break forward from our own box to terrorise the Hull defence. Looked like the charge of the light brigade
Forgot to mention. The older chap with the flat-cap, sat next to Hodgson, was film star Tom Courtney. Hull City are his team.
We have done this before, I can remember a reference on MoD about "here come the Red Arrows", can't for the life me remember who said it.
It was Lawro I believe *googles* Yep: http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/163874-The-Red-Arrows-Mark-Lawrenson
