1st part of my hat trick already on the go. Sold my motorbike an hour ago. Part 2 is Saints winning. Part 3 is Jethro Tull at Colston Hall tonight. Anxiety level already reduced by getting the price I wanted. Jethro Tull are always good, so only the small matter of a football match between me and the biggest smile since my other half accepted my marriage proposal. On paper it's a banker. Unfortunately we are not playing on paper. I still believe. COYS
Mixed feelings about it being on the telly. BBC site for Saints says we have a terrible record on TV. Only 2 wins out of 10 ythis season. I knew it was poor but not that bad. Time for a change of fortune.
Nervous. Woke up with a weird feeling like a game of two halves. Just hope the elation half is the second and at the end! Let's hope we repeat the score the last time we played them on the 28th April...even though they stuck two past us!!!
I guess all the people that normally do this are at the game or down the pub.. Davis. Butterfield, Fonte, Hooiveld, Fox. Guly, Hammond(c), Schneiderlin, Lallana. Sharp, Lambert Bench: Bialkowski, Harding, Cork, De Ridder & Puncheon Coventry make 2 changes as expected: Jordan Willis and Carl Baker replace Richard Keogh and Clive Platt. Apparently Coventry are lining up 4 5 1...parking the bus?
I might have liked to see Barnard on the bench, but we have 2 attacking options in De Ridder and Puncheon. Would have preferred Martin on the bench over Harding. No CB shows that we are ready to GO FOR IT. COYR
Coventry have only picked up 9 points away from home this season. 1 win, at Hull and 6 draws, at Cardiff, Middlesbrough, Burnley, Lees, Watford and Doncaster. I think we can safely say saints are favourites today!
Unfortunately nothing is won on paper. So far Coventry are looking relaxed and comfortable and have had the better chances already!
I think that, paradoxically, having nothing to play for can make a team dangerous. Our defending was looking woeful, we need an early goal.
