Unfortunately, knowing Hughton as we do and knowing your attacking threat, it is highly unlikely. We'll be lively and the crowd will help make Carrow Road very difficult, but I still expect us to play safety first against you.

Hopefully, we get an early goal and make a real contest out of it...heh, would like to see how our defense holds up against a team that appears to want possession at some point before we head to Anfield, and we sure as hell aren't going to get that at home against West Ham the next week.

JWP certainly seems to be the clubs choice for spokesperson. Future captain for sure!

Tom's unbeaten. We lose, it's your fault!

We should nickname him "Mike Ward-Prowse"

Why would you say that? I'd never make a comment like that about another team unless I'd watched them very regularly (not MOTD highlights). It is so "my teamCentric"

    I explained this above.

At the moment we do have a habit of stifling matches and we are at home, so it is hardly surprising that I would be "myteamcentric". I have, however, looked at your recent results and performances nothing has indicated any differently - all teams struggle to break a highly defensive and organised team down, that is no criticism. As I said, you could well do enough to win.

Fair point. Actually it was quit a strong team... Their goals were ridiculous, though - a stupid deflection and did you see the 40 yard drive? Our reserve keeper really struggles with those...

Look, I'm not saying it won't be high scoring (I'd love it to be, the Bury match was fantastic), I'm just explaining how we've set up recently against teams where there is a real attacking threat. This is my probability index.

Think we'll be too strong in central midfield as shown in large spells at WBA, despite Mulumbu's best efforts.
I have not seen Fer play before but I'd be shocked if he is as good as Mulumbu
The strength on the flanks from Norwich is going to be their biggest threat. If Redmond starts then id Clyne on the pitch.
As for the saints attack it's a real headache for Pochettino and I doubt many saints fans will share the same 4.
Davis & Ramirez did themselves no harm on Tuesday. JWP has performed well in the last two league games and that still leaves Lambert, Lallana, Rodriguez & Osvaldo.

I think we'll go for JWP, Lallana, Lambert & Osvaldo

For the record, I don't think it will be a goal fest either Rob. My point really is that fans (Saints included) make their comments based on their view of their own team and a tiny bit of info on the opposition (as you did by saying about recent results).

For example, would your view have changed a little if we had scored 5 against Sunderland? We easily could have and perhaps should have.

It was mentioned previously that Everton scored 2, yet you said one was lucky, one was a screamer.... But they were still goals that can't be taken away.

I think that we have been similarly talented teams for a few years now (we followed each other down and almost up too) and I would say that each time we've played you recently it has shown that neither of us has pulled away from the other in terms of rating/stature of player and therefore I think a draw is likely as we cancel each other out.

Ha ha! And there, your honour, I rest my case :)

I'm gutted that I'm in Edinburgh for a wedding Saturday (only family get married in the season!) as I always make the trip to Carrow Road; it's my favourite away game. I love the atmosphere and the feel of the ground and have a couple of Canaries I meet up with for a beer before the game.

Good luck and for the rest of the season too.

Message to CanaryRob ... See, here is a Saints fan saying we will be too strong in midfield but then saying he's not seen Fer play!!! Saints fans do it too :)

Saintlyhero, not having a dig mate as you may well be correct, just using his as an example to demonstrate my previous post to our yellow feathered friend :)

    Don't worry, point taken!

I stand by my prediction though, because it is slightly different - I am not going on a lack of knowledge of your players - simply on the basis that it is easier to shut games down than open them up, i.e. anti-football. And it is precisely because I think your midfield will be pretty strong that I suspect Hughton will be tempted to shut the game down. As I said, I could easily be wrong. Here's hoping!

Fer is better than Mulumbu, but he has not had time to fully adapt to the Prem. I think your friend somewhat overrates Redmond - he's exciting and will be fantastic, but he's not our most effective player.

Really can't stand much more of these translated press conferences, I think I may have to stop watching them, unfortunately.

I don't usually watch them closely, just have them on in the background. I think I benefit from speaking a fair chunk of Spanish though.

I usually just listen to the players and read the written copy on the website.
