Yeah good point mate, they have plenty of German options waiting and primed for a seat. Kimi would be out of this world there with Michael.
But we can only dream ;)

    Clearly he didn't!
Manny/EternalMSC, yes, your comment is in a slightly different colour at the beginning, but the "thanks for reading guys" at the bottom isn't, and also implies you're responsible for the article.

Everyone contributes to the forum just by posting an opinion. You learn from a forum by others challenging your opinion, making you justify it, and by reading other peoples interpretations. Cosicave is a very knowledgeable member of this forum, so debating with him really makes you question your own opinion, an incredibly valuable contribution.

_________________________________(This is my drawing a line under that issues, can we move on!)____________________________

With regards Rosberg, if he feels he's a good enough driver to challenge for the championship, he has to believe he is better than Alonso. Why should he then be afraid of racing him in equal machinery?

Only by competing against the best can you prove yourself. Vettel's dominance has called many to question whether the RB7 has been very, very quick, but Webber just hopeless. If rather than Webber it was Alonso producing Webber's results, people would be far more willing to accept Vettel as a top,top driver, because Alonso is already deemed a great driver by many.

If Rosberg wants to win the WDC, his best chance is to put himself in a competitive car, and let his driving do the talking. Currently Ferrari look better placed than Mercedes to produce a quick car, so if he thinks he can compete with Alonso, he should take the seat. You can argue that Ferrari will favour Alonso, making Rosberg a number 2, but Ferrari aren't stupid, if Rosberg starts to consistently outqualify or outrace Alonso, they know they'd have to reconsider.

What is he intending then? to wind me up?
Oh dear me, this has never been a problem on anybody else's thread.
A few manners used for thanking you to take time out to read the thread in the post "Thankyou for reading" is now being thrown back into my face, all I interpret is vindictiveness, if you feel it is offensive to you... bugger off.
If you really are stunned by my thread, post to the mods + get it removed + and me banned.
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I think Rosberg should stay at Mercedes, the competition between himself and Schumi is really hotting up, both drivers are very good and giving and absorbing information on the track.
He is an asset to the team and it would be the wrong decision to bail out and click refresh.
Alonso would treat him the same as he did with Massa...

Eternal / Manny whatever - why is it you can only last a short period before you are virtually abusing?
Cosi pointed out quite correctly - I for one did not bother to challenge you because I guessed at the likely response.
You have such a short fuse / chip on your shoulder - calm down and don't get so cross.

Just ignore those who offend you. (probably includes me now).

Nah, it is the fact that Cosi has nothing productive or positive to in his reply to any of my threads/posts, so stuff him. I don't abuse voluntarily but when I am accused of plagiary by a fellow member, only the mods can tell me what to post or not.

[Off-topic. To all who are following the intended line of debate from the original article, please skip this interruption; for which I apologise.]

Aha! thanks for the portrait EMSC but you didn't get my best side!

In terms of contributions to a motor-racing forum, I'm interested in seeing what others are thinking about in the first place, and there is plenty of quality here for me to respond to (including you; although for some reason, you appear to under-estimate yourself). However, it is wrong to say that I accused you of plagiarism. I simply pointed out the term for what you yourself told everyone you'd done!

And as for your last comment; it seems you have a rather selective memory…

In spite of your persistent attempts to insult to me personally, have a look here from just a few days ago:

Apologies for the interruption to the thread.
The article EMSC's research produced is worthy of debate.
    I would
simply like to know who wrote it.

Credit where it's due, an' all that…

I can't see Rosberg going to Ferrari if anything he should be working harder with Mercedes next season

Maybe we have all missed something very obvious and Kimi will be back at Ferrari next season

I have a feeling that Rosberg had something more to give. He's not been great this year but he's shown some good form before and I think he needs a break.

Nico to me, is the big unknown in F1.
I can't figure out whether out he is the same class as Vettel, Hamilton, Alonso, Kubica etc or whether he is an just another average/decent driver in F1.
Surely from his record (beating every single teammate with the exception of Mark Webber who he matched very well in his rookie year) he must be good?

    Not sure I believe this.

    • What could Rosberg be doing in Maranello that isn't Ferrari related? I suspect the "private matter" is contract negotiations.
    • Massa has a contract for 2012, so of course Montezemolo will say there are no driver changes for next year - he can't say anything else until Ferrari announce a replacement for Massa.

Equally though, they could be discussing a 2013 contract, it's early days yet, but Nico must guess Ferrari will be at the top or close to it in 2013, and maybe guesses that Red Bull will replace Webber with someone from their young driver program?

But only if he's prepared to be in breach of his current contract!

Looks like Ferrari are once again putting their faith in Massa.
