Not yet! Still way to close for comfort. Yes we have first team players returning from lengthy absences and the new signings look impressive, but we still need to pick up vital wins. Ask me again after this weekend. How about Saints fans' views on your survival? <ok>

I reckon we've been improving all season and if we can maintain our recent form we should be alright. Not expecting much from tomorrow's game (if it goes ahead), but win lose or draw we'll still be out of the relegation zone when we face QPR at our place next week for a massive game in which Redknapp is sure of a lively reception. If we can keep it going through March, then our run in isn't too bad. I'm not going to jinx it by saying I'm confident, but you can see how I'm leaning.

I'd put my house on you lot staying up btw. QPR, Reading, Villa and Wigan all have a lot more to worry about.

For me, there are at least 4 teams who will finish below Saints in the league: QPR, Villa, Reading and Wigan. It is very possible that we could finish above yourselves, Norwich, West Ham and Fulham as well.

What's the weather like up your way? Forecast says it's snowing. The weather won't affect the match tomorrow will it?

    The academy game is off.

Newcastle's scheduled U18 league fixture at Little Benton today against Middlesbrough has been postponed due to the prevailing weather conditions.

The forecast says it's meant to stop snowing in Newcastle soon. I'm assuming the pitch itself will be alright as you must have undersoil heating!

The pitch should be fine, it depends on what the approach roads are like.

That's what the police take into consideration. Safety.

the forcast also said it would be snow showers, - it hasn't stopped snowing since 5am this morning that I know of

Yeh the pitch will be ok with the underground heating
it's just you can't get into or out of the carparks at the moment

I'd be very surprised if the game didn't go ahead, as you say, it's due to stop in the next few hours, and as silly as it sounds it's that really wet slushy snow that tends not to lie too long, and it's not particularly cold today to be honest.. <cool>
Don't worry, by tomorrow we'll be good to go! <badger>

It's the dry white stuff here and it's falling heavier than it was earlier.

Yes that's what concerns me the most. But it hasn't been snowing for days on end so there shouldn't be any ice. I would expect the match to be on.

Don't be surprised to see Saints to boss this, if Par Deux hasn't done his faire de maison.

EDIT *actually that's probably more like the dishes and hoovering
